I couldn’t sleep last night so I downloaded Haven. I loved it. They both had such crazy families but family dynamics are always interesting. I loved the Cape Breton setting. Someday, I want to visit there.
My mother was Canadian and I literally grew up in Michigan and Ontario. I hope your next book is set in Ontario. Maybe one of the lakes? My grandfather built a cottage at Point Pelee National Park in the 1940’s and all of my summers were spent there until I got married and moved to the Washington, DC area. Of course, now they have shooed all of the home-dwellers out of Point Pelee and it is actually better as it was becoming too overrun.
I’m sorry that I started to run on. A crazy stream of conciousness.
I’m really looking forward to your next book.
Thank you so much, Bev, for reading Haven and letting me know what you thought. I really appreciate you taking the time to do so. Cape Breton is a beautiful place to visit.
My third book is, in fact, set in Ontario, in canoeing country! (My second book, however, is set in Ohio.)
I just finished reading both the “Strength” books for reviewing and they are wonderful!
Oh, thank you so much Robin! That means a lot to me :) :) :)

Aw, thank you GJM! I’m thrilled :)
I just finished reading Book one in the Strength series. An awesome read and definitely a keeper! I am halfway through the second book and I like it just as much if not a little more. My reviews will be on mybookcravings.com. I can’t wait to see who gets book three. You are one talented lady keep up the awesome work.
Robin Smith
Oh gosh, thank you so much, Robin, for the kind words! I look forward to reading your review :) :)
I just finished Strength of the Pack and I loved it. Once again, you have your family dynamics which play such a big part in your books. Am looking forward to the next book in the series.
Bev, I’m so glad you liked it! Makes my day :) Thanks for letting me know. I can’t believe the second book will be out in less than a month.
I happened to discover your ebooks this morning. (If I recall the link trail correctly, I saw a cover for Puma on Beyond the Veil after clicking through from Sela Carsen.) After reading the blurbs and some excerpts, I had to get Strength of the Wolf immediately. I just finished it and enjoyed it tremendously. It definitely works well even for someone who hasn’t read the first Strength book. I’ll be reading more of yours as soon as possible. Haven appeals most next, I think.
Hi Simone! Thanks so much for letting me know you enjoyed Strength of the Wolf. I appreciate it. I’m also glad to know it works without the first book. I did want it to stand alone. If you get to my other books, I hope you enjoy them too :)
