Hey, while waiting in the orthodontist’s office yesterday, I flipped through People magazine. And, what do I see? There’s a new Bionic Woman—note the dropped “the”. As a kid, I loved The Bionic Woman. Much more than The Six Million Dollar Man. (Though I loved the opening of that show. “Gentleman, we can rebuild him.”)

Lust think and sexual tension

I’ve kinda lost track of At the Back Fence and its columns since the board switchover. But I stumbled on their latest by Sandra Schwab, Lascivious, Luscious Lusting, wherein she asks if increased sensuality in romancelandia is a good thing.
Reading the column, I realize I think of lust think as bad and sexual tension as [...]

Joyfully reviews The Strength of the Pack!
Thank you so much, Lyonene.
I love werewolves and Strength Of The Pack, although gentler than I’m used to in this genre, is a wonderful story. The coming together of Jamie and Seth is at times both beautiful and frustrating. Seth couldn’t trust anyone after his time at [...]

So once I clicked over to buy A Dangerous Thing, book two in the Adrien English Mysteries, I just kept on reading.
Adrien takes off for the countryside, to a ranch his grandmother left him. He stumbles onto a dead body or two, as well as some archaelogists. There’s another good mystery, but the most compelling [...]

A few months ago, I won a book, Fatal Shadows by Josh Lanyon. I always feel guilty winning books. For one thing, I think a non-writing reader should win them, though why I think this, I don’t know. It doesn’t make sense. The other thing is, I’m wracked by guilt if I don’t read it [...]
